Live with Purpose in 2019

Last year, 2018 I started with an idea and gained clear direction with a lot of support. My motto was “Make it Happen” and I did. The year before that things were shaken up for me to the point I stood still for a moment. I felt like I was delivered a huge set back that could have meant the shut down of one of my businesses.  Quickly I gave myself a shake as I know things can unexpectedly show up out of my control. 

​​​​​​​So, I got laser focused, revisited my plans and my future then made some necessary adjustments. My statement this year in 2019 is "Live with Purpose." I have it posted where I can see it clearly each day to remind me to move forward at full throttle.  Always know certain things can rock the boat but when you have a goal, create the plan, follow the course, stay focused you are able to get to your destination. I’m going to share certain areas to eliminate so you can achieve those BIG GOALS you have for yourself this year.

    When you tackle your day do you feel energized and excited or dragging your feet and overwhelmed with everything?  In order to excel you need to have the energy and drive to deliver the results.  Here is a list of top energy drainers to remove and some tips to overcome them:

  1. Lack of Clarity and Focus
    Be clear on what you want to achieve. Determine the area of your life that you want to improve.  Then make a well-defined plan to follow.  Unclear, then ask for guidance, hire a coach, talk to your mentors to help determine what you want and what needs to be done to get your there.  Make sure your goal or intention is crystal clear-specific, measurable, action oriented, realistic and timely. Write it down and revisit it weekly to stay focused and on track.   
  2. Lack of Execution

Stop daydreaming of what you want to achieve and take action to make things happen. Implement what counts that move you towards your goals.  Close gaps when needed.

Many things can get in the way of success so you decide what you want to accomplish by when and then get to it.
