I am so proud and humbled to step into my role as Chair of CAWEE. I’m honoured to reflect on the four years I’ve spent on the board. Each position deepened my appreciation for this remarkable organization and its incredible members. I encourage you to join a committee and get involved. This is a wonderful way to connect with others, contribute to CAWEE’s growth, and learn about the rewarding experience of serving on a not-for-profit board. As I did, you may find you’ll be able to apply so much of your learning to your business practice.
Our board has exciting plans to guide CAWEE into its 49th year, with goals and strategies designed to elevate our CAWEE community. We will hold quarterly planning sessions with the board to discuss actions and innovations that will drive growth, and we recently kicked off our first meeting. I’m excited to share our progress and invite your ideas on how we can best support our members, and grow our membership
