any personal information we hold. This Privacy Policy outlines how we
manage our members personal information and safeguard their privacy.
1. We obtain only limited personal information
from our members. We ask our members for their personal information
only to the extent that we need it to ascertain qualification for membership
and to provide membership services to them.
2. We limit access to members’ personal
information. We use reasonable and industry-standard managerial, physical
and electronic security measures to protect and safeguard members’
personal information. We authorize members and management-service-providers
access to members’ personal information only on a “need
to know” basis. Unless we have your express consent, we will not
sell, rent or trade personal information such as membership data or
e-mail lists to any third party. We treat all information you provide
as confidential. Occasionally, we may contract with other companies
to provide limited services on our behalf such as packaging and mailing
or web service. If we should be required to provide personal information
in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation,
or as otherwise required by law, we will, unless prevented by law notify
you prior to the release of such information. We also reserve the right
to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good
faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information
when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect
the rights, property and safety of others and ourselves.
3. We prevent unauthorized disclosure of
members’ personal information. We advise our members and management
service providers to keep members’ personal information strictly
private and confidential. We ensure that departing members understand
they remain obliged to respect the privacy of members’ personal
information. We prohibit disclosure of any member’s personal information
to any third party without our member’s explicit consents.
Our Privacy Policy does not apply to third party web sites that may
be accessible through our web site. We encourage you to read the privacy
policies of those third parties to learn how they collect and use information
about you.
